The Adamawa Digital Academy is a transformative initiative dedicated to equipping youth and women with essential digital skills and fostering innovation across Adamawa State.

 

The Adamawa Digital Academy is more than a training center; it is a platform for transformation, designed to empower youth and women in Adamawa State with cutting-edge digital skills. As a participant, you will receive training and certification from globally recognized organizations, preparing you to thrive in fields like software development, data science, cybersecurity, digital marketing, and more.

 

Our academy is driven by the vision to create a digitally empowered Adamawa, where individuals from all walks of life can access high-quality education, engage with industry leaders, and secure opportunities in today’s technology-driven world. The Academy equips participants with in-demand digital skills and certifications, increasing their employability in various tech fields and connecting them to job and internship opportunities both locally and globally.

Our Training Impact

The Adamawa Digital Academy is committed to transforming the digital landscape of Adamawa State by providing specialized training to 100,000 individuals across key categories.

Youths

 

Train 70,000 young people with in-demand digital skills.

 

Courses designed for youth include software development, digital marketing, data science, and cybersecurity, providing pathways to tech-based careers and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Civil Servants

 

Equip 30,000 civil servants with the tools and knowledge to improve efficiency and enhance digital literacy within government operations.

 

Civil servant training includes digital literacy, data management, IT support, and process automation, aligning with the state’s vision for a digitized public sector.

Are these the only skills that will be covered in the programme

No, these six (6) skills category have been identified for the first phase. As the program expands, we will include more skills.

The average length of the courses being offered in this phase will be three (3) months.

The training is hybrid, meaning that it combines online and in-person components. While the majority of the training can be done remotely, there are aspects that will require in-person training.

The only financial support for this phase of the programme will be the cost of training. Participants will be responsible for transportation, meals and other costs.
